What is SheepShaver
SheepShaver is an emulator that emulates a PowerPC G4 Based Mac but it does not emulate SCSI/IDE/USB/FireWire or an MMU.
SheepShaver runs Mac OS 7.5.2-9.0.4 (9.1 and 9.2 if you downgrade the Suitcase file "System" to 9.0 removing the requirement for an MMU.) You cannot run Mac OS X or Linux or any other UNIX-like OS due to lack of Open Firmware, If youre looking to emulate PowerPC builds of OS X, Maybe you should look into PearPC. The Only programs that wont run on SheepShaver are programs that require A 3D accelerator or an MMU.
Overall, SheepShaver is a very stable emulator and I recommend downloading it, Just Google "SheepShaver Download".
Here is a list of new world Mac Models emulated by SheepShaver:
iMac (Tray Loading): All Models (except Bondi Blue Rev. A)
iMac (Slot Loading): All Models sold before 2001
Power Mac: Power Mac G3 Blue and White, Power Mac G4 Yikes! And Sawtooth, Power Mac G4 Cube (possibly)
iBook Clamshell: All Models
PowerBook G3: All Models (excluding Original)
SheepShaver Does not emulate Mac Models sold after 2000.

Uh... Thats it. I wouldve made it FILLED with model numbers, but it would take 15 minutes just to type them all!
