iPod touch 3G and iPad 1 not supported by iOS 6
Sad news for iPod touch 3G and iPad 1 owners, iOS 6 will not support the iPod touch 3G or iPad 1. You can see images of the iPod touch 4G plus the iPad 2 and iPad 3 but the iPod touch 3G and iPad 1 are not pictured nor listed on Apples website so if you happen to own an iPod touch 3G (like me) and an iPad 1, you will not get the awesome new features of iOS 6, Instead youre stuck with iOS 5.1 which isnt too bad and is still a good choice but you will not be able to use iOS 6 only apps but you will be able to download most apps from the App store and Cydia such as Angry Birds, Netflix, etc.
BTW, Im fine that the iPod touch 3G and iPad 1 arent getting iOS 6. My Only Problem is that soon, Apps are going to need iOS 6, But then again apps that will only work on iOS 6 will probably just be utilities for iOS 6 features and not any, what we would call "Real" apps. Besides, Im actually not used to these new features and iOS 6 would be as slow as a snail on the iPod touch 3G because thats what its going to be like on the iPhone 3GS which, Get this, is still supported but will have limited functionality on the 3GS, Just like iOS 4 was on the iPhone 3G, So my advice for iPhone 3GS owners is when iOS 6 comes out, PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE!!!!!
UPDATE:iOS 6 Beta 4 is now out an does not include the YouTube App
