Samsung Planning To Have A Mobile Unpacked Event On March 22 In The US Galaxy S IV

Well according to a korean newspaper, Samsung is planning to hold a mobile unpacked event in the US on March 22. Well on the same page, there is also rumors that Samsung is planning to ship the Galaxy S IV in April. Other info include that the next gen Galaxy S device will be codnamed Altius and the device will launch in two colors. The Altius is going to ship in week 16 of 2013 if all goes well. Also there is also rumors building up that the next gen Galaxy S device will not include the number 4 because it is bad luck in Korea. That goes to say with the model number which till date we are only seeing GT-19500.

Xperia Launcher APK File Xperia On Every Phone

Sony phones are not one of the most popular devices out there but there are some hardcore fans out there. So if you are a Sony fan and you own and android device which is not an xperia youll be happy to know that an XDA user has ported the whole launcher into an APK file for you installing needs. The launcher works pretty well and is pretty smooth too, but i still prefer to the stock android one although the Xperia launcher is pretty similar. Facebook Phone My Preliminary Thoughts On It

In a few hours time, Facebook is going to hold their event in which hinting with the tagline of come see our new home on android. With that said, Facebook is highly expected to announced a facebook launcher for android called Facebook Home and alongside the new launcher they are also expected to show off a new device called the HTC First and will most probably be the Facebook Phone which has been long rumored. So here is some of my preliminary thoughts on the phone which will be pioneering the new launcher. First up is that i dont think that there is really a need to have a phone based on a social network at this moment. But if Facebook is smart enough they would bundle the device with some features which are making life easier for social butterflies then maybe they have hit the jackpot. Another things is that being a social network based phone then you must always be connected to the internet to get the fullest out of everything and when using either wifi or 3G/4G battery life is drastically being used in both the background and foreground. The only way that Facebook can pull this off is that they show something so amazing that people would want to have one. Examples are hard core integration of Facebook with every corner of the phone having a share or like button. Launching this phone, Facebook is proned to show some integration of Instagram or maybe shed some new features to the android app. This is all i can say for now but stay tuned tomorrow as i will write another follow up article to this regarding what was announced.

Surface Pro To Go On Sale In The US Canada On February 9 For 899

Last year at a special event in June, Microsoft announced the Surface which will be a tablet lineup by Microsoft. In the launch event they announced both the Surface RT and Surface Pro. Since the Windows 8 launch in October the Surface RT has went on sales and the overall rating for it is pretty low and is said to be an overhyped device. Today, Microsoft has revealed the black and white on the Surface Pro availability, It will be launching on February 9 in the US and Canada. To recap the Surface Pro is the bigger brother of the Surface RT and will run the full version of Windows 8 which means existing applications like photoshop, and others will run normally. The specs of the Surface Pro include a 10.6" full HD screen, a core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, a full size USB 3.0 port, a microSD card, 64/128GB storage options, and a mini display port. Similar to the Surface RT, the Surface Pro also supports the touch or type cover. In addition to that the Surface Pro also comes with a pen which will enable better movement in the OS. Finally, the Surface Pro will start at $899 for the base 64GB model.

Sony Ericsson Focus On The Smartphone

Although the mobile phone market to lower middle class (low end) is very high demand in Indonesia, did not make the Sony Ericsson turned away. Company merger between Sony and Ericsson that have been aged 10 years and is now focused on the smartphone products.

Djunadi Satrio, Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson Indonesia to explain the reasons Sony Ericssons focus on the smartphone to upper middle market. He said the companys data shows that the trend of mobile phone sales in Asia Pacific, more than 50 percent of products sold are a class of smartphones. "We believe our strategy in accordance with the trend," he said.

In addition, clear Djunadi, Sony Ericsson now also focus on developing platform-based smartphone with Androidthough still will be releasing a multiplatform smartphone as its global strategy . This is also supported by trends that Android is now the largest operating in the world for smartphones.

Nokia Lumia 928 accessories spotted on Amazon pretty much confirm leaked pics


Generally speaking, when you are seeing accessories for an as-yet-unannounced product on sale, you can count on seeing that product make its debut fairly soon.

Of course, we could also see these offerings disappear too, the result of a mistaken click of the webmaster or merchant getting set up for a future roll out.



The images from the merchant’s accessory offering (which by the way is not a terrible deal from the looks of it) have taken a Nokia Lumia 920 and placed it within a rendering of their hard cover case. We know this because the back of the device shows the 920’s double-LED flash while the cut-out shows ample room for something more (like a xenon flash).

The cutout for the speaker is present as well, and the rest looks like standard fare for a Nokia design, volume, power/lock and camera buttons along the right side of the device and there it is. This certainly not spoof of some kind as the vendor has a solid rating and thousands of reviews on Amazon.

If you are planning on picking up a Nokia Lumia 928 whenever it becomes available, and counting on Verizon or Nokia to actually announce the device, this could be an opportunity to get some handy accessories for it.

D One Texas Hybrid Phone With 3 On

Currently, cell phone hybrid that carries the dual GSM and CDMA consumer demand is more and more because practical and do not have to bother carrying a lot of phones. This market is trying to do by the D-One.

D-One tried to introduce Texas DM-309 mobile phone which is a 3 on GSM + GSM + CDMA with navigation systems that already use the trackpad to operate the menu.

For GSM number, the number of active can be selected one of them. But the number of CDMA will be always on and can not be disabled.
