Hello, i have an acer aspire v5-571 which only comes with one audio input so i'm guessing its a combo jack for mic/audio. the problem is when i plug in my audio only earphones into the jack it turns off the internal microphone at times.. Ive never ever had a problem before id just plug the 3.5ml jack from my dj mixer into my laptops audio input and would hear the sound no problem through my laptop speakers,ready for recording. but have just got a new laptop acer aspire v5-571 windows 8, 64 bit, 8gig ram.
