I just bought both editions for gta 4 and i was dissapointed due to he fact of me installing it twice but i found the solution to this problem, go to the game properties and fild the local content and find the gta 4 launcher, from there right click it and run as admin and bam it works for me. Step 4: uninstall any visual c++ 2005 redistributable items listed in add/remove programs. step 5: navigate to the gtaiv main folder, and locate the installers folder. (in my case its program files > steam > steamapps >common > grand theft auto iv > installers.. Error: seculauncher:failed to start application [2000]) download and install this little app into the game dir. i have tried all of the above methods and none have worked, except for this link. link removed - cracks are not allowed.
